96 THE INVESTIGATION

Luke drove Isabella to his own home and helped her settle down. He got her breakfast from a nearby cafeteria but had nothing to eat himself. He headed for the police station. Once the bodyguards got to his apartment, he ensured everywhere was safe before heading out. A few officers are interrogating Darrin at the station. They found out it was just a pseudonym, and he also had a criminal record; he's been charged with assault and battery in the past. Due to his good look, he'd seduce young, unsuspecting women and proceed to rob or sexually assault them.
