Madison was sobbing uncontrollably, blowing her nose into the napkin in her hands. Ethan walked up to her, wondering where her bodyguards were; he made a side note to fire them immediately after they got out; what use are they when they're not around to protect her?
"Darling, get up. Are you fine?" He lifted her from her position and pulled her in for a hug. "Stop crying now; tell me what the problem is."
Madison looked up at him and gave a faint smile. She quickly cleaned up her tears. "I'm fine, Ethan; I'm not really sad. I just came here to give my last respects. I came here to mourn her, and oh, don't fire my bodyguards; I asked them to stay in the car so I wouldn't be noticed."
Ethan felt like she could read his mind like a fortune teller. "How did you know I planned on firing them?"
"I just know you must have gotten angry when you didn't see them around."
