353 ECHOES OF SILENCE
Aiden and Caden had just returned home. Their whole weight rested on their toes as they tiptoed in a bid not to wake anyone. They had planned on sneaking in and acting as if nothing happened, and it was all working well until they got to the door.
"I can't open the door," Aiden said, calling out to Caden, who was behind him holding his clothes. He had held on to the cloth since they entered the compound, following each footstep that Aiden took. It would be right to say he was trembling; maybe that's why he could not hear Aiden's call.

Aiden was already frustrated at the door, and his brother was not helping with his absentmindedness.
