Isabella had just been discharged from the hospital with a strict warning. She had to be careful and stress-free. Isabella is good at everything; she's the boss of herself and her competition, but one thing everyone agrees on is that resting isn't something she's particularly good at. She had gotten up from the armchair twice that morning, and they arrived home barely an hour ago.
"Can you please go back to the chair?" Luke asked after she hugged him from behind in the kitchen. He flipped the eggs and turned the bacon before turning around like a ballerina, careful enough not to loosen her grip or tug at her belly.
"I'm so tired of resting. My legs want to move around and play." She protested like an infant whose toy was confiscated.
