Cecilia nodded. "Yesterday's diagnosis said you have a mild concussion. You shouldn't be exerting yourself like this."
"Whatever Alston wants to eat, just order takeout," she added.
Cecilia nodded again. Alston's intent was clear—not just for wontons, but to get her out so Marian could receive a call.
"Let's go check on Alston!"

In the hospital room, the rain poured outside. Alston waited, but Cecilia didn't return.
He grunted. Wasn't she supposed to be capable of handling herself? It was just rain; Cecilia wouldn't melt.
