Alston's gaze darkened, abruptly standing up, grabbing the car keys, and driving to Moonlight Manor.
There wasn't a single light on inside, and Cecilia seemed to be absent. For the first time, Alston felt the urge to see Gladys.
His lips tightened as he took out his phone and dialed Cecilia's number. After a few rings, Cecilia answered.
"Alston?"
