"Get away from me," Eric said, gently pushing Hazel back. He didn't add much pressure, fearing she might fall. "Stop behaving this way and behave like a lady, even if it's just for once." Hazel shot him a playful glare, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "How is that a problem? I just wanted to sleep over at your house, and you're behaving this way." Eric scoffed, his voice laced with annoyance. Just then, Ryan asked out of the blue, "Hey, where's Ethan? He didn't come down with you?" His eyes scanned the area as if searching for any sign of Ethan. Hazel's expression turned curious, and she replied, "He is upstairs. Sleeping I guess." Ryan's brow furrowed, concern etched on his face. "That's strange. I hope everything is okay." The group exchanged worried glances, sensing that something might be amiss.
