Chapter 53: The Decision

Back in the lounge, Quam was very happy after learning of Mariana's decision. Leaning back in the plush sofa, he lost his professional demeanour, and returned back to his playful self, his face adorned with a big grin. "So, Mariana," he drawled, "looks like we're officially colleagues!" Mariana, however, remained cautious. Despite agreeing to try out a career in acting, she still felt uneasy about her decision.
