Chapter 87: Doubts Arise
Days following the magazine interview were a whirlwind of excitement. Knowing my artwork would be featured and celebrated in Art Vision Magazine was a dream come true. Yet, beneath the surface of this success, a lingering unease gnawed at my peace. I had tried to shake off the nagging feeling about Kate's blatant flirting, but it persisted, like a shadow refusing to disperse.
One evening, Jason and I were sitting on the couch, basking in the quiet comfort of each other's company. Jason was engrossed in his phone, scrolling through emails and messages. I leaned against him, feeling content and grateful for his unwavering support.
"Anything interesting?" I asked casually, glancing at his screen. Jason smiled and shook his head. "Just work stuff. Nothing exciting."
I nodded, but a sudden notification caught my eye. A message from Kate. My heart skipped a beat as I watched Jason's expression change. He frowned slightly, then quickly swiped the notification away.
"Who was that?" I asked
