The next morning, Jason and I were still savoring the warmth of the previous night’s gathering. We lounged in bed, talking about our friends and the excitement of our upcoming projects. “Sam and Nelson are such a great couple,” I said, nestling closer to Jason. “I’m so happy for them.” “Me too,” Jason agreed. “And it’s good to see them doing so well.
