Chapter 45: A Spa Date

I woke up to the soft morning light filtering through the curtains, a warm and comforting feeling enveloping me. The previous night had been magical, and I felt a pleasant exhaustion from all the love and intimacy Jason and I had shared. As I slowly drifted into consciousness, I felt a gentle kiss on my forehead. My eyes fluttered open to see Jason smiling down at me, his eyes filled with love. “Good morning, beautiful,” he whispered before quietly slipping out of bed. I stretched and let myself sink back into the pillows, savoring the moment. The events of the last few days had been a whirlwind, but now that Jason and I were together, everything felt right again. We had missed each other so much, and being here, in his apartment, felt like the perfect way to reconnect. After a few minutes, I heard faint sounds coming from the kitchen. Jason was making breakfast, and the delicious aromas wafting through the air were making my stomach rumble. I couldn’t help but smile, knowing he was
