CHAPTER 10 Through the Rain

Jason lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling, his mind a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions. He needed to figure things out. The next day, he would finally talk to me, and he couldn't leave Rachel in the dark for much longer. His thoughts were so consuming that he didn't notice the wind picking up outside. It wasn't until the curtains fluttered that he snapped back to reality. The sound of the wind against the window grew louder, and he got up to close the curtains. As he reached for them, he paused.
