Chapter 47 Jailed

CHAPTER 47: Jailed — LIA — DARKNESS greeted me when I opened my eyes. Well, I'm not even sure if my eyes were already opened. There is no hint of brightness in every space. I tried to blink my eyes, but the same thing greeted me whenever it is close or open. All black. However, that darkness didn't stop me from thinking that there are people near me. I can hear small muffling sounds. I don't know where they are coming from. Sound of footsteps and metal clicking echoed in my ear. That felt like it came from a nearby place, but I can point which direction I should go. I opened my mouth, trying to ask for help. But no words came out. I became mute. Or maybe, it was because my throat felt so dry that I can't talk. I can't even let out a small moan. I tried to stand up, hoping that would bump into something, maybe a door, that can lead me to the exit. I badly want to leave this place. The darkness is making me uncomfortable and scared.
