Chapter 57

"What the hell was that?" Ryan asks Christina, curious as to why Michael had behaved like this to them. Christina just shrugs in response, she picks up one of the spoons that came with hers and grabs a small piece of dessert with it. Michael and Jhonny leave the bakery, and then, they both get into the car, Jhonny hands Michael the dessert so he can put it in his hands. Jhonny drove to his house to pick up his wife, and she was already there, elegantly dressed, waiting for her husband to show up to go to the meeting at her mother-in-law's house, a meeting that she clearly did not want to go to, but she ended up accepting at the insistence of her husband. Michael got out of the car when Jhonny parked in front of his house and got out to go look for his wife.
