SUZIE’S POV “Please, lift your arms up a bit,” one of the maids beside me said. I lifted my arm and felt the measuring tape on my arm. Another maid beside me was measuring my waist, and another had the tape straight on my thighs, down to my ankles. My whole body was stiff and I could feel perspiration drip down my face. How did I get into this situation? I had agreed to attend the banquet and that made the kind and queen absolutely delighted. I had never attended a banquet, so I didn’t know what the proper attire would be, so I decided to ask Sylvia for help. Since she was well versed in fashion, she was more than happy to aid me in getting clothes to wear for the banquet. On the day we had selected to go shopping, a royal guard has appeared at my doorstep and given me an invitation to the palace. I was in utter shock when I was taken to the palace and put in front of the king and queen. They offered immediately to make arrangement for my clothes that I would be wearing to the banquet.
