Special Chapter 2-2

Amanda woke up not knowing where she was. She pulled herself up and looked at the surroundings around her. Amanda was confused. How did she end up in the forest? The last thing she remembered was going to sleep at the pack house. She couldn’t remember anything after that. Amanda got up from the dirt and stretched; her body was sore, and figured it was due to sleeping on the ground. Amanda turned to see if anything looked familiar. Nothing. Amanda patted herself down, looking for her phone. She closed her eyes as she cursed silently to herself. No cell phone. Taking a deep breath, Amanda tried to focus and use her new heightened senses to help her. Keeping her eyes closed, she focused as she pleaded with her wolf. 'Please, please, please help.' She waited as her mind separated all the sounds that she was hearing; she was hoping that she would find something to help her figure out where she was or which direction she should be heading in.
