Deak smirked as he heard his uncle’s yell echo through the large mansion. Those dumb fools he called his guards were nothing but idiots. He still couldn’t believe they were able to get away so easily and jump the guards that were watching them. But now he needed a plan. A way for them to get out of there before small girl’s mate came looking for her. “Deak, what are we going to do?” Amanda asked him. He could hear her heart racing; he knew she was scared. He wanted to keep the promise he made to her mate that he would protect her with his life and hoped to make it out alive as well. “We need to find a way to leave before your mate comes here,” he told her. Amanda felt a strong shiver run through her body, stronger than she ever felt before. The tingles started next. “Uh…Deak?” He turned to look at her. “I think he’s already here.” Hudson jumped out of the car before it could come to a stop and started running toward the front entrance of the mansion.
