Hudson snarled when he heard the voice of the man that had taken his mate. Hudson was through playing games and playing nice. He was ready to fight if he needed to, in order to get his mate back. “Easy, wolf, I didn’t come to fight. Amanda, it’s alright, come on out,” Deak called. Amanda walked out from a smaller room and was relieved to see Hudson standing there. “Hudson!” Amanda called out as she rushed over to him. She wrapped her arms around Hudson’s waist and buried her head into his chest. She closed her eyes as she took in his cologne and was happy that he had come for her. Hudson didn’t know what emotion he was feeling at the moment. He wanted to be angry with her for lying to him and getting herself into trouble. But the moment that her skin touched his, his anger slowly melted, and relief had settled in. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed the top of her head.
