"Take this!" He ordered as he approached me with two tablets in his hand and a cup of water from the small table beside the bed. I stared at the drugs for some while as I contemplated whether or not to use the drugs, I didn't trust him and wasn't sure they were safe. "The doctor gave them to me" he said like he was somehow reading my mind and I nodded my head as I collected the tablets from him and gulped them down with the water beside me. "Thanks" I said but he didn't reply to me as he went back to sit down. My mind was filled with different thoughts as I kept on thinking of how I could make him go far away from the room without him noticing anything. I wasn't with my phone and there was no way I could reach out to Asher to do something to distract him because I didn't think I could solely handle everything on my own.
