Lenora's Pov "Jasmine?" I called her name in surprise. It was more than a jump scare to see her behind me, pinning Simon to the floor with her eyes shooting daggers at him. "What happened?" I asked, with a perplexed look on my face. My legs reacted quicker than my body as I rushed towards Simon, watching him lie flat on the floor without moving. His wounds appeared to have reopened, and his bandage was drenched in blood. By now, Jasmine had already stood up from his body, but he was still lying flat on the floor. His wounds should have healed by now, and I can't seem to point out why it was taking so long to heal; it's shocking that there would still be any signs of blood on his bandage. Could the venom from my claws have caused it, or could it be something else? I didn't care about the uncomfortable pain that I felt in my waist area or the little extra attachment in my tummy when I bent to meet him on the floor, carefully lifting him up with my arms around his shoulders, even though h
