"Stop spreading rumours, Skye. Of what good will it be to you?" Simon asked, removing his hands from hers, and I could see the confusion on her face.
"Ask her yourself, I'm not lying." She defended herself.
"So it was you who started this rumour? I expected more from you," Simon said, leaving her dumbfounded. He left her side and took a glance at me before holding my wrist and dragging me into his room.
"You're seriously going to take her side here?" I could hear Skye yelling at the top of her lungs, but her voice cracked in the middle of her sentence, and I realised that she was hurt.
I now understand the reason why Skye has been acting strange to me. It was because she and Simon had something going on between them and she thought that I was getting in their way. I don't know if what they did was right considering the fact that they were siblings nevertheless and had the same father, but I felt bad being in between whatever was going on with them.
