SIMON'S POV
"Simon, help!" A faint sound echoed in my ear, and I recognised it as being that of Lenora, but the moment I stood up from my bed, the sound vanished. It wasn't repeating itself in my head any longer and vanished like I never heard it.
"Strange," I muttered to myself as I returned back to my bed. Laying on it, I brought a pillow to my chest to hold on tight to it as my body seemed to be disturbed, but that wasn't helping.
I wasn't feeling okay and my body wasn't settled. I wanted to check up on Lenora, and perhaps that would put my mind at ease, but at the same time, I couldn't. Holland was in her room, and I couldn't just barge in there. He would take it as something else, and I wasn't in the mood to argue or fight with him. We've done that way too much in the past few days.
With my mind still troubled, I stood up from the bed and slowly walked towards my desk while straining my hearing to be able to hear whatever was going on in Lenora's room that was troubling me. I coul
