LENORA'S POV I woke up feeling a little bit better from the incident last evening as I went on burying my head in my palms whenever I remembered how Tala had quickly knocked me out without using her real powers which I don't have even though we were blood. Or at least blood by just blood with nothing else, no relationship between the two of us . I turned to see Alaric sleeping beside me on the bed as he looked peaceful. I didn't want to disturb his sleep but the moment I stood up his eyes went flying open in the absence of my body beside him.
