Late at night. Blair checked the time; it was almost one in the morning. Usually, Mable would have already been in deep slumber at this hour. Blair stood up, put on his coat, and made his way to Mable’s ward. However, upon pushing open the door, he found an empty bed. There was no sign of Mable in the washroom or the balcony either.
