When Mable returned to the hospital, she remembered that she had an appointment with the gynecologist that day. She went to get a number, had a body check-up, and did an HCG test. Since it was late, the test results would not come out until tomorrow. After the examination, Mable went to the ward to see Zoe. Zoe was awake and preparing to be discharged. “Mabes, I bought a ticket to return to Fasier tomorrow morning,” Zoe said to Mable. Mable nodded. “What time is your flight? I’ll see you off.” “It’s okay. You’ve been so kind to take care of me these past two days. You should rest.” Zoe hugged Mable and said, “Don’t worry about me. I’m not that fragile. I’ll get over him.” “Mabes, I may not be able to attend your wedding. I’m really sorry I have to back out of being your bridesmaid.” “It’s okay.” Mable patted Zoe’s back to comfort her. “Zoe, one day you will meet a man who treats you wholeheartedly.” Zoe said nothing.
