“You don’t care about me at all,” Gabriella stated, eyes wide like she had a divine revelation. It wasn’t a pitiful statement but an epiphany. She finally admitted the truth she had denied her whole life. “Why are you doing this to me? I understand that I’m not your favorite child, but I’m still your daughter!” Gabriella couldn’t contain her anger. She raised her voice, which in turn, annoyed her mother.
