"No need!" Maisie tilted her head and pouted. "Don't you hate people interfering with your things?"
"That was in the past," Daniel's voice was deep. His hand was playful as he pinched her earlobe softly. The subtle pinch made her heart skip a beat.
Leaning in, he whispered in her ear with warm breath, "You'll have to participate in everything about me from now on!"
She looked at him, cheeks burning, looked down, and chuckled.
