Rosa didn't say anything. She was quiet. Lanre was right. If he hadn't told her,she wouldn't have known what he did behind her back. But telling her shows how much he loved and wants to be transparent towards her. Now she had made him feel hurt again. From the way he talked, she knew he wasn't happy with her behavior. Lanre had started the car but he didn't talk to her, nor glance at her as he's always done. He just stayed focused on the steering and looked straight ahead of him. When he arrived at her work place, he parked and let her come down. If it was the happy Lanre, he would draw closer to her and kiss her before she left,but that day, he waited for her to step out of the car. "Will you come and pick me after the day's work?" Rosa asked. She wants to create a friendly environment between them again. "No," Lanre answered blatantly. He didn't look at her still and he had that expressionless face like someone whose mind is some
