"You're right. Not everyone can marry the wealthiest man in the country, and it's not as if they're a common find," Queenie muttered. She added, "But your newfound status as a granddaughter of the Hooper family could give you an edge with the Hendersons."
Joey merely smiled and shook her head. She would rather avoid bringing up her association with the Hoopers if she could.
After lunch, Joey and Queenie drove home together. It was two in the afternoon when Queenie got home.
