The soft silk blanket slipped off Joanne's shoulders, and the cool air suddenly made her realize she wasn't wearing anything. She quickly pulled the blanket back over herself in panic after catching a glimpse of her own body. Instinctively, she glanced at the space next to her. Wayne had already gotten up and left, though she didn't know when. "Seriously? He just left like that?" Joanne fumed, swinging her legs off the bed. As soon as her feet hit the floor, her legs felt weak, and she almost couldn't steady herself. However, her nightgown was discarded on the floor. With no one else around, she had no choice but to get up and grab it herself. Joanne shakily walked to the side of the bed to pick up her clothes. As she bent down, holding onto the bed's edge, Wayne suddenly returned from outside. The bed was separated by a screen, which was still up because Joanne hadn't gotten out of bed yet. Wayne had to go around the screen to see what she was doing. Joanne heard someone enter.
