"Yes, I met my granddaughter-in-law. She's a beautiful, respectful, and sensible girl." Joshua could tell from Harry's tone that he was very pleased with Queenie.
On the other hand, Joshua didn't dislike Queenie, but he wasn't impressed either. Perhaps it was because he still didn't know her yet.
"Grandpa, you've only met her once. Isn't it a bit hasty to give her such high praise?" Joshua wasn't trying to nitpick, but he had seen firsthand how unreasonable Queenie's family could be. He still had doubts about Queenie's character.
