Chapter 12 : An Unexpected Gift

TW: Gore RAVEN Standing in Adriano's master bathroom, I watched him draw my bath. He added Epsom salt and essential oils to the steaming water, dipping his hand in to check the temperature. Who the hell was this man, and how did I land him? "Come here, honey." He gestured for me to come closer. Taking my hand, he helped me climb into the steaming, fragrant water. The heavenly scent of chamomile and lavender wafted up from the water, instantly making me relax. He undid his shirt and pants and climbed in behind me. Sighing, I leaned back against his chest. He grabbed a sponge and dipped it into the hot water, running the sponge across my shoulders. I melted into the comforting feeling. "Better?" he mumbled against my neck, kissing gently along my skin. "Mmhm," I sighed in bliss. "You know we could be so good together," he spoke against my shoulder, caressing my skin with the soft sponge. Laughing, I shook my head. "I don't know about that."
