Chapter 911
"Hey, are you okay? How's your injury?" Lisa asked Nigel.
"I'm fine... well, not too bad." He ran his hand over his head. Before, he hadn't thought much of it, but with all these bandages on, it suddenly felt like a much bigger deal. His head was starting to spin.
"You get some rest, okay? I'm off to see my uncle. Can you tell me which ward he's in?" Lisa asked.
"He's over there. I can take you," he said enthusiastically.
"No need. You should rest instead." She declined.
Just then, Nigel's phone rang. He answered it while walking away, holding his head. Lisa watched him and felt a pang of worry. If Nigel, who was sitting in the back seat, was injured this badly, the driver, Logan, must be in even worse shape.
She started walking toward Logan's ward. She only made it a few steps before two young nurses came out of a treatment room, chatting. "It's hilarious. Who does that? He's not hurt at all, but he insists on bandaging up."
