The problem wasn't the network. Lisa had hung up on purpose. She was afraid that if she didn't, I would say something that would make things awkward between her and Logan.
Logan walked in, holding a glass of milk. His tall and slender frame cast a long, dark shadow on the floor. Even his shadow had perfect proportions.
Lisa looked up as he approached and called out politely, "Uncle Logan."
"Drink the milk," Logan said, handing her the glass.
His fingers were long and powerful. With his sleeves rolled up, his strong forearm revealed a network of visible veins.
Lisa's thoughts drifted back to the moment where Conrad had held her captive. When his hideout was surrounded, he tried to use her as a hostage again. But Brandon suddenly betrayed him and pushed her. As she was about to fall, Logan appeared out of nowhere, catching her just in time.
At that moment, Lisa felt a strength she had never experienced before.
Seeing she hadn't taken the glass, Logan raised it toward her again.
