Chapter 611
I was well aware of the weight of a billiard ball and the damage it could cause. Even if it didn't break bones, it could still leave deep bruises.
I dodged on reflex, but a powerful arm caught me mid-movement. The next thing I heard was a loud bang, followed by countless others.
My vision was filled with flying balls, and I was spinning around amidst them. The person spinning me around was Brandon.
With his hand firmly around my waist, he swept me along in a whirlwind of movement, as we dodged and weaved...
This scene, straight out of a TV special effects sequence, was now unfolding before my eyes. Several times, I saw the balls flying toward me, but Brandon either dodged them or blocked them.
"Larry, that's enough! Stop!" Chris' pleas were lost in the deafening noise of the banging.
I lost track of time as the relentless barrage of balls continued. I felt Brandon's grip loosen as he spun me around, his pace gradually slowing. He must have been exhausted.
