CHAPTER SEVENTY THREE – THE RIGHTFUL CEO
With a resolute nod to Charlotte, he pushed open the doors and stepped into the cavernous office, his entrance punctuated by a hush that fell over the assembled occupants.
Edward sat behind the immense mahogany desk, his expression one of barely contained fury as he took in the sight of his son standing defiantly in the doorway.
Flanking him were a cadre of lawyers and advisors, their expressions ranging from stunned disbelief to grudging admiration at Julian's audacity.
"Julian," Edward growled, his voice laced with a dangerous undertone of barely restrained rage. "How dare you barge into my office like this, after everything you've done?"
Julian met his father's glare with a steely resolve, his jaw set in a grim line. "Your office?" he echoed, his voice carrying a note of finality. "I'm afraid you're mistaken, Father. This is my office now, as the rightful CEO of Preston Enterprises."
