Edward surveyed the scene with a triumphant sneer, his eyes boring into Julian's with undisguised contempt.
"This is your doing, Julian," he spat, his words laced with venom. "You brought this upon yourself with your foolish ambition."
Julian opened his mouth to respond, but Edward held up a hand, cutting him off.
