Alejandro's expression hardened. "Jasmine, I understand you're upset, but you can't blame me for the problems in your marriage. I've only ever wanted what's best for you."

Alejandro's facade of concern slipped, revealing a flash of anger. "I've done nothing but support you and this studio. If your husband can't handle a little competition-"
"Competition?" Jasmine interrupted, her voice rising. "Is that what this is to you? Some kind of game?"
She moved to the door, holding it open. "I think you should leave, Alejandro. We'll discuss the future of our partnership tomorrow, when we've both had a chance to cool down."
