CHAPTER THREE HUNDRED AND THIRTY FIVE – SETTLING DISAGREEMENTS

As the door closed behind him, Jasmine leaned against the bar, her mind whirling. The day had been full of surprises, but none quite as unexpected – or as thrilling – as that kiss. She knew they had a lot to figure out, a lot of feelings to sort through. But for now, she allowed herself to bask in the warmth of the moment, a smile playing on her lips as she turned to prepare for the evening service. Jasmine had just finished going over the day's reservations when she heard raised voices coming from the staff room. Sighing, she made her way towards the commotion, already sensing that her mediation skills were about to be put to the test. As she approached, she could make out the voices of Sarah and Mike, two of their more experienced waitstaff. They had been at odds before, but this sounded more heated than usual. "You always do this, Mike!" Sarah was saying, her voice sharp with frustration. "You can't just swoop in and take my tables!" "I didn't take your tables," Mike shot back
