CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY ONE – FLIGHT RISKS
Jasmine and Gordon settled into their seats on the plane, eager to put the chaos of the airport behind them. Just as Jasmine was about to let out a sigh of relief, a booming voice erupted from the row directly behind them.
"Can you believe the prices they're charging for these in-flight snacks? It's highway robbery, I tell ya!" the voice bellowed.
Jasmine exchanged a wide-eyed glance with Gordon, who merely shrugged and offered her a wry smile.
The voice continued, undeterred by the lack of response. "And don't even get me started on the legroom. It's like they're trying to cram us in like sardines! I swear, my knees are going to be permanently imprinted on the seat in front of me."
Jasmine leaned closer to Gordon, lowering her voice to a conspiratorial whisper. "If this flight lasts much longer, I might lose my mind."
Gordon chuckled, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Just think of it as one last adventure before we return to the peace and quiet of New York."
