Chapter 76 Someone's Dead
When we got home, Leonard went straight to the guest room without giving me a chance to talk.
I knew this meant he didn't want to discuss it anymore.
He had been like this since school. Whenever there was a topic he didn't want to address, he would take time to process it alone before coming back with a solution.
I had never liked this kind of silent treatment, but he would only stay distant for one night at most.
I didn't bother with him. Since we were home, I packed some of my clothes as I planned to stay at a hotel for a few days, at least until I wrapped up Brightwave Group's case.
But I didn't expect that the next day, just as Leonard dropped me off at work, the police would show up.
