Chapter 309 Like a Clown
When we arrived at the new office, Glenn and the others were buzzing with excitement.
"Wow, this place is amazing! Sure, the furniture's a bit old, but it can be renovated," one of them exclaimed.
Since they were all in design, everyone had some expectations for the office décor. Besides setting up their own workspaces, the young crew started sketching ideas to spruce up the office.
I waved my hand dismissively. "No more than a hundred thousand for the renovations. The company will cover it, but I really can't afford any more than that."
I couldn't pretend to be some wealthy mogul now that I was starting my own business; I had to be careful with expenses.
Lydia quickly shook her head. "No need for that. Fifty grand is plenty."
"Glenn can do the carpentry work, but that means our office setup might be delayed a few days. What do you think?"
I stared at Glenn in disbelief, then turned to Lydia, who was blushing a bit.
