Chapter 397
Shelmaine had no intention of tending to Samuel and instead coldly reminded, "Don't dirty my floors."
Samuel said nothing as he headed to the bathroom. When he came back out, he was shirtless, with one of Shelmaine's blue towels wrapped around his waist.
Immediately, Shelmaine felt the towel was contaminated, already imagining tossing it out and replacing it with a new one.
He had also taken the liberty of using her body wash. As he moved closer, the familiar scent of it reached her, causing her to frown in irritation. She looked away, not wanting to engage. "When are you leaving?"
"Do you expect me to leave like this?" Samuel replied.
"And how is that my concern?" Shelmaine shot back.
"Shelly, are you mad at me?"
"You make it sound like I'm someone who flies off the handle all the time," Shelmaine responded, her tone cold and distant. "I didn't do anything wrong. Actually, nothing you did counts as wrong anymore, either, so I have no reason to be angry. Don't flatter yourself."
