Shelmaine shrank back into the corner as she stared at him. "Did you follow me?"

Shelmaine was speechless.
Samuel pressed the elevator button. The other people in the elevator were frightened by his presence and quickly left, leaving behind just the two of them. The narrow space felt suffocating.
Shelmaine stayed on the 17th floor. She tried to ignore him and regain her composure, thinking of what to say to him.
