Chapter 3 Don't Contact Me
She was in unbearable pain, but he had no idea what to do. He pressed the emergency button installed at the bedhead.
The nurse came to check and then injected a shot of painkiller to ease her pain temporarily.
"The patient shouldn't get excited. Pay attention to pace her emotions!"
The nurse must have felt pity for her when seeing her skinny arm. The mercy was clear on her face. Then she left the ward.
Jeremy looked down and regretted that he told her. At least it should have reduced some problems between her and Will.
"Emma, have a rest in the hospital. I go to buy you something!"
Lying in bed, looking at the ceiling, motionless. She felt her soul was extracted, despair in her hollow eyes.
Jeremy lowered his head again unconsciously. It seemed that he was talking to void, which he had got used to.
Soon after he left the ward, Emma took the drop off her arm. There was no one around, and she put on her shoes, walking out of the ward silently.
She was determined to find her diagnosis, which was the only proof of her pregnancy.
The belly ached continuously, which slowed down her walk, bending her back as the pain was getting worse and worse.
The painkiller effect was reducing. Her forehead was covered with cold sweat, but her hand seemed to act on her own to march forward.
She opened the office door and found the first paper on the desk was her diagnosis. There was an ultrasonic photo where a shape of a small baby could be identified in her womb.
She looked down to check closer and put her hand on the paper, touching gently. It was her baby, the baby of her and Will.
Suddenly, tearing up in her eyes, she wiped off the tears and put the paper in the pocket rapidly.
Jeremy walked up the staircases with some fruits in his hand, and saw Emma sneaked out the doctor's office. He knew something went wrong, especially when he saw her eyes were rolling.
He rushed over and grasped her hand to walk together to a staircase without people, and then let her hand go.
"Emma, what did you do in the doctor's office?"
"Jeremy, thank you for taking care of me. But I hope you don't interfere between me and Will."
She looked at him and stressed each word slowly and clearly to make sure he understood.
Jeremy wanted to grasp her hand, but stopped when he saw her rejecting gesture. He felt he was stabbed at heart.
"Emma? Are you sure you want it in this way?"
She looked up at him. It would just be wasting time since she made it utterly clear.
"I want to see Will and let him know!"
Jeremy realized she meant seriously and then witnessed her to pass him by ,disappearing.
The dazzling sunshine was on her to make her uncomfortable for a while, as she just woke up.
After bumpy journey and waiting, she arrived at the house that she was so familiar with and she opened the door and walked in.
But it was strange the door was not tightly closed. Some strange sound came from inside, which lured her to see what was going on.
"Babe, you are great!" "Ahhhh..."
The scattering clothes were lying from the living room along the staircase to the bedroom on the second floor. The sexual groan came to her ears.
Out of curiosity, she opened the bedroom door and was shocked with what she saw.
Sherry was lying under Will's body and groaning overwhelmingly, which encouraged him to move faster. It was totally a different scene comparing to the day he treated her.
