Chapter 83
I passed by the house I shared with Luna and didn't go in. Instead, I returned to my rented apartment.
Tossing and turning all night, my mind was filled with Luna. Her angry yet pleading expression and her disappointed figure as she left were etched deeply into my brain.
I knew deep down that I still couldn't let go of her. Even though she treated me like dirt, in my heart, I still wanted to help her. Maybe it was my way of making amends for the hurt I had caused her with the time I had left.
But helping her didn't mean I would agree to have a child with her.
Still, our relationship was cold to a freezing point. I wasn't sure if she would even listen to anything I had to say.
…
The next morning, I woke up early and headed to the supermarket nearby. I bought some expensive supplements there to be brought to the Sherwood residence.
The relationship between Mr. Sherwood and Luna was not looking good, either. Perhaps there could be a chance to ease the tension between all of us.
