I stepped back to dodge Luna's hand. "What's this project got to do with me, Ms. Sherwood? Did you forget you already handed it over to Team Alpha? Their leader's right here. Don't you think it makes more sense to involve him?" I asked. Samuel looked away, clearly unsure how to respond. He'd been all about Luna ever since he joined the company. He didn't really have any experience or skills to lead a team. If Luna hadn't kept him around, Team Alpha wouldn't have taken him seriously at all. "Edward, you're not seriously going to ignore this, are you? S-Sam's been sick lately. He hasn't even checked out your project plan, so how could he take over?" Luna asked. She wasn't holding Samuel accountable, even with issues popping up. Instead, she wanted me to handle it. "This has nothing to do with me. I told you at the hospital that I'm quitting," I replied. But Luna wasn't backing down. "Edward, your resignation letter never reached my desk. You're still with the company without my app
