As Clarissa and Cassius discussed seating arrangements and menu options, Mara found herself drifting away from the conversation. She ended up near one of the massive windows, looking out at the bustling city below. Cassius joined her after a few minutes. "What do you think, love? It's quite impressive, isn't it?" Mara turned to him, biting her lip. "It's beautiful, Cassius, but... it's not me. It's not us. I don't want a wedding that feels like a business function." Cassius' brow furrowed. "Mara, I understand your desire for something intimate, but we have to consider our position. There are family expectations, business connections to maintain..." "But what about what we want?" Mara interrupted, her voice rising slightly. "Shouldn't our wedding be about us, not about networking?" Their conversation was cut short as Clarissa approached, still gushing about the venue. Mara took a deep breath, trying to quell the frustration building inside her. "I need some air," she said abruptly
