As they pulled away from Ghostwater, the group's minds were already turning to the challenges that awaited them. The artifacts they had retrieved from the hidden chamber weighed heavily in their backpacks, both physically and metaphorically. Each bump in the road reminded them of the precious cargo they carried and the responsibility that came with it.
Mara, behind the wheel of the lead vehicle, glanced in the rearview mirror at Clarissa, who was poring over the Noble family diary once again. "Find anything new?" she asked, her voice carrying a mix of hope and fatigue.
