What if fun was just a fragment of existence with little packaging?
I had no idea what was to come except what I could see. I got into my car without waving goodbye to my sister and zoomed off straight to my house.
A million thoughts paraded through my mind, swerving my imagination left and right with no proper direction as to where to go next. There had to be more, but the only thing this mind of mine could produce was nothing aside from blank emptiness.
It was the entire world against me. I swore to always be by her side till the day I die, and now it seemed I would watch her die first. It was a nightmare I wanted to wake up from badly. Never should a man be put through so many sorrows; never should a man watch the person he loves die before his very own eyes.
I imagined the worst when I thought I had seen it all. There was always a thread to pull, a battle to fight, a demon to conquer, and a storm to sail through.
